Another recent piece i did inspired by Marco Mazzoni. I absolutely adore how he leaves the eyes out of the faces of his figures and covers them with flora and fauna. I was experimenting with colours as well for this drawing and i am pleased with the outcome, but still not on the level i want to be. 🙂

This is a marker drawing i did early 2012. I have a passion for angels, even though i’m not religious, i find that the idea of angels are so pure and beautiful. My Mum has collected Angels throughout her life and i grew up around them and now i collect them myself. I went through a phase last year where i would take things that were innocent and turn them into something pale and strange. This was slightly influenced by Mark Ryden, an illustrator whose work ‘Heaven’, i posted a little earlier. I’m not very happy with the hand i’ve drawn resting on her chest, if i could change anything about this picture i would fix the hand up to look more like the other one.
